Hello!
I'm Iisa Nuorttila, Helsinki-based artist and illustrator, founder and creator of my illustration and design brand Artiisan. I couldn't be happier to see you here, so first, big warm welcome!
My story began couple of years ago during my art studies, when I started to post my small paintings and illustrations on Instagram, just to channel my creativity somewhere. Little by little my artistic style developed, my portfolio grew and eventually I started collaborate with various brands and companies.
Since then I've worked with both large international brands and many small start-up companies.
Before I started my own design company, I studied layout design and art teaching here in Helsinki. I love teaching and interacting with students, yet design and illustration are my biggest passion. I'm happiest around my paint brushes and in creative mood. I paint all my works by hand, using high-quality gouache colors and papers, so all my works are made with heart and are surely unique pieces.

The name Artiisan is combination of my name Iisa and word art. Artiisan is combination of hand-painted goodies with touch of my heart.
